Vision - The Beginning
Over the course of the last few years - God has clearly begun to stir here in Los Angeles. Through Conferences, Camps, Gatherings - we have seen thousands in this generation moved to surrender their lives for the work of the Kingdom. It has been an exciting time of growing, learning, and building. We believe that God has brought the Church through this season with a two-fold purpose.
To bring the leaders of this generation together - crossing denominational and cultural barriers to UNITE in the spirit of Psalm 133. Without this unity - the Lord will not “Command the Blessing” upon our City.
To bring us back to the CORE - the things that will usher in the work of His Kingdom here in LA - PRAYER, WORSHIP, and FASTING.
A foundation has been laid - but there is still so much work to be done before we see the fullness of God’s plans released over the city of Los Angeles. We live in possibly the most influential city in the world. The things that come out of this place literally touches the ends of the earth. No wonder the enemy spends so much time and energy in trying to keep this city in bondage. He knows that when the Glory of God comes to LA - that it will touch the nations.
On August 18th-21st, we are calling the Church here in Los Angeles to UNITE for a 3-Day Strike to change the Spiritual Atmosphere over our City. Three Days of relentless worship, prayer, and fasting to OPEN HEAVEN over Los Angeles … to break the hold of the enemy over our land and to usher in City Transformation.
Why?
There are a lot of good things going on right now in Los Angeles - 24/7 Houses of Prayer/Worship rising to it's feet, students praying for their campuses, marketplace ministers taking their places in all different spheres of society (business, law, medicine, art, music, education, etc.), a generation hearing the call to lay down their lives for the sake of the Kingdom ... all of these things are wonderful & necessary - and we will see the fruits in clusters in different places. HOWEVER - this is not going to bring CITY-WIDE TRANSFORMATION like we have seen in over 160 cities around the world (where over 90% of the people of the city are saved, the Gospel is proclaimed morning & night, jails are closed because there is no crime, bars are closed because there is no business, worship is taking place on the street corners, and the righteousness & justice of God is being executed from the government, to the courts, down to the everyday citizen). This is what we are longing to see here!!
Worship, Prayer, and Fasting must OPEN HEAVEN before we can see the fullness of God's glory come upon our city. If this does not take place - we will see fruits in clusters - 5 saved here, 10 saved there, 100 saved at a Church conference, 1000 saved at an evangelistic meeting - but we will never experience LOS ANGELES TRANSFORMATION. We need to begin to press in together in massive, unwavering, worship, prayer, and fasting to OPEN HEAVEN. These are the Keys …
How?
For three days - an army is going to assemble together to Jericho March around the 6 “High Places” of Los Angeles. These are key spheres of society that the enemy has kept in bondage and has used to possess the minds, the hearts, and the voices of this generation. As we UNITE together, we are going to convene on key locations to break the shackles over the Government, Education, Hollywood, the Courts, Sports, and the Marketplace. We believe that as we STRIKE (encircle through worship, prayer, and fasting) - that the spiritual atmosphere will begin to shift, the walls of the enemy will begin to crumble, and the Glory of God will begin to occupy our land.

Vision - The NOW
From August 18th-21st, 2005, an army assembled to change LA. Through intercession and violent worship - not only was LA shaken - but lives were changed, paradigms were shifted, and the seed of a new REFORMATION was planted.
The Lord has placed a challenge before this ministry … “to release a REFORMATION that will be read about all around the world” (Cindy Jacobs @ Azusa Street, 8/21). God is calling a generation to rise up in boldness in this hour - to go outside the four walls of the Church to “Contend for Heaven on Earth” through relentless worship and intercession. He is calling an army to lay down their time, their agendas, their reputations, and ultimately their lives for the sake of the Gospel. Those who hear this call will be used to usher in the last great move of the Holy Spirit upon the Earth (Matthew 24:14).
As we contend for Transformation here in Los Angeles - we must carry this Spirit of Reformation. Violent Worship and Intercession must CONTINUALLY hit key locations until we see a shifting in the Spiritual Atmosphere over our city.
As the seeds of REFORMATION continue to be planted into the streets and campuses of our cities by the foot soldiers, the Lord has spoken to us about the importance of continuing to gather corporately for focused, strategic aerial assaults. As we unite together as the Body of Christ to engage in violent worship and intercession - God will open the doors for the REFORMATION ARMY to reap the harvest in our cities.
At appointed times - STRIKE LA will trumpet the call to assemble and war over strategic sites - to loose the strongholds of the enemy and to release the purposes of God over our city. “Step by Step we’re moving forward, little by little taking ground, every prayer a powerful weapon, strongholds come tumbling down and down and down and down”.
